SOLUTION DEMO
HxGN CloudSuite EAM provides comprehensive, scalable solutions that you can implement and deploy across multiple entities and locations while consolidating asset information and reporting at a high level for financial and capital planning requirements.
LEVERAGING HxGN OS
- Track equipment purchases, equipment inventory, maintenance requirements, and maintenance or repair activities for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Provide the ability to coordinate equipment-related systems, processes, and procedures amongst different business lines.
- Manage enterprise assets and maintenance activities with a system that utilizes the latest cloud and web-based technologies; is user friendly, simple to use, secure, captures critical information, supports a diverse environment, and is easy to support.
- Integration capabilities provided through HxGN ION (part of HxGN OS) and web services technologies that will enable integration with existing systems. HxGN Intelligent Open Network (ION) is a powerful integration platform that enables you to integrate disparate solutions together using open source standards such as XML and Java. ION connects and integrates HxGN and non-HxGN applications, storing information in a common format and repository. ION allows information that flows among applications, analytics, and social media streams to be accessed by users from their desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Unlike conventional middleware, the lightweight ION technology is not layered on top of existing applications, but rather infused into them. As a result, ION makes integrations quicker, simpler, and more reliable.
VITAL SOLUTIONS
Provides you with the ability to identify, track, locate, and to analyse physical assets. It facilitates metered usage measurement and automatic usage value transmission to sub-components. By compiling asset data – such as location, cost history, warranties, claims, meters, permits, and documents – HxGN EAM helps maximize productivity and asset life. Asset Management takes advantage of an Asset Management Hierarchy, which allows you to track asset costs and the movement of assets throughout their respective lifecycles. This is done using an easily configured “family tree” that forms relationships between equipment, systems, positions, and locations.
Offers capabilities to monitor and control the inventories of storerooms. These capabilities include economic order quantify (EOQ), class calculations, parts receipts, issues, returns, cycle counts, part substitution, part reservations, and record part stock outs. Materials Management also supports the ability to manage “repairable spares,” allowing you to designate parts or equipment as being “repairable.” Items designated for refurbishment can be automatically placed in a “To Be Repaired” location when returned to the storeroom following maintenance action.
Enables users to define an asset in terms of linear reference details like length, unit of measure, and geographic reference. Users can write work orders against any portion or point on that asset by specifying the to and from point.
Includes Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS) codes, fuel management, and additional Fleet Management fields. Focusing on the transportation industry’s greatest opportunities for productivity and cost-per-mile savings, Fleet Management enables you to process warranty claims, manage tires and fuel, and improve vehicle performance through preventive maintenance. This module also provides functionality that will allow you to track fleet vehicle use, assignment, and rental as well as the associated maintenance, fuel usage, and insurance billing that may be required.
Tracks all aspects related to work performed on assets, from installing new equipment to issuing corrective or preventive maintenance work orders. The ability to track and manage work requests, book labor, capture warranty, record part failures, conduct planning, and labor scheduling will allow you to make the most of your resources while improving productivity. Work Management also allows users to create a work order and include multiple pieces of equipment with or without the need for a route. Checklists can be added to all preventive and routine maintenance. The checklists can include checkboxes, meter readings, asset condition, and inspection criteria. Follow-up maintenance can be created directly from the checklist with tasks based on the results.
Allows your users to track asset warranties, process warranty claims, and to provide for unlimited warranties against any asset. Warranty Management accommodates both meter- and date-based warranties and automatically tracks all work orders in the system that have a potential claim. Additionally, it allows for time-elapse warranties on consumable parts not registered as assets.
Works in concert with the Work and Asset Management modules to give you more control over condition monitoring. Inspection Management allows for the automatic generation of corrective work actions when an inspection result exceeds a preset limit.
Designed for maintenance organizations that operate as a business unit and charge departments for maintenance work they perform. This feature can be used by you to define time, material, and labor costs in cost-charging arrangements and then to apply cost-charges to agreements with internal and external departments and agencies.
Designed to identify all hazardous situations, materials, and activities, plus to deliver a method to control these hazards. This gives you the ability to protect both people and the environment. Safety Management includes three components: Safety, Lockout/Tag-out, and Permitting. Isolation tasks can be set up which incorporate Infor EAM’s checklist capability.
Automates budget setup and the subsequent capture, monitoring, control, and analysis of associated maintenance expenditures.
Provides the ability to centralize incoming maintenance requests from a broad and diverse customer base. Call Center empowers operators and customer service representatives by providing all the information needed to handle maintenance, service, and asset management requests right at their fingertips. It also ensures that all necessary information is gathered from the caller to successfully complete the request.
Captures events that are not work order related. This includes items such as off-shift notes, operator notes, accidents, emissions, and spills. You can also record the behavior of an equipment piece under certain conditions that you observed or the reason for a production lines stoppage without creating a work order. EAM Case Management gives you the ability to define tasks and responsibilities, timelines, regulatory requirements like certain documents that must be submitted, the ability to associate work orders, and follow-up inspections. With the Case Management function in Infor EAM, all this information can be collected and acted upon.
Is supported using HxGN EAM’s flexible integration architecture and allows your users that operate and manage geographically dispersed assets to integrate the ESRI GIS system and Linear Referencing System into the solution to address their unique environment. With the GIS integration, you increase workforce efficiency and lower costs by:
o Pinpointing assets and accessing critical information prior to servicing
o Enabling work order generation directly from the GIS display
o Streamlining workflow between departments for improved performance
o Forming sequential routes to complete work orders
o Creating a consolidated, easy-to-access view of asset history and location
o Leveraging seamless GIS and asset management integration community-wide
o Create multiple equipment work orders within GIS.
o Reducing administrative overhead by synchronizing critical tabular HxGN EAM data with geo-spatial layers and attributes from ESRI GIS
o Adhering to governmental regulations, such as GASB 34 and MAP-21, through linear asset management
o Focusing graphically on strategic sections of assets and related asset failures
Makes it possible to download work assignments from HxGN EAM to handheld devices, smartphones, and tablets. This automates virtually every aspect of maintenance and data collection and allows your users to create field-based work orders, use drill-down menus to retrieve detailed information about a piece of equipment, and capture actual “maintenance time” as work occurs. EAM Mobile can be used in either a connected or disconnected mode. EAM Mobile also supports:
o Attachment Upload (Field Inspection Photos, Documents, Design Plans)
o Multiple Equipment Work Order
o Automatic Data Download
o Support for Windows handhelds, tablets, and devices as well as iPad, iPhone, and Android Smartphones
